Auchi Polytechnic is a member and major participant in the Nigeria Polytechnic Games Association where competitions for Students known as NIPOGA and competions for Staff known as NIPOSSGA are organized . It is a biennial sporting competition involving all accredited polytechnics and colleges of technology in Nigeria.

Our Competitive history

• Currently hosting the 22nd Edition of NIPOSSGA
• Won Gold medals in the last NIPOGA games
• in the 15th position among over 50 participating Polytechnics.
• Won 28 medals in the 19th Edition in 2017
• Hosted the 13th Edition of NIPOGA Games in 2003

The Directorate, as a mandate, provides our students with every resourceful tool they need to be successful in terms of their mental health, academic performance and competitiveness.
